Would you like to chair a project for the Jaycees? For all of our projects (things as simple as a Friday After work Club meeting, to something complex like Uptown Friday Nights TM) have a Chairperson's Planning Guide (or CPG) filled out and approved before the project happens.
A CPG is like a business plan for your event- it includes the who/what/why and how of putting on your event, as well as a budget and questions about ensuring safety of patrons at your event. Once it's filled out, it should be clear how the event will run and what is necessary to make the event a success.
Ready to tackle your first CPG?
- Download the blank form here.
- Take a look at a sample CPG of a past project or two. Email the appropriate board member your project falls under to get samples.
- Fill out your form as completely as possible.
- Submit your form to the appropriate VP in charge.
- If your project will make money for the Chapter, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- If your project gives money or manpower to the community, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

- If your project is just for fun, or to recruit new members, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- Your form will be reviewed by the board. You may be asked to make some changes or clarify a few points, or you may just hear your CPG is approved, and you are free to formalize the plans for the project. Don't forget to ask for help if you need it!
